DC, here I come! I’m thrilled to announce that I have been selected to attend Headache on the Hill as an advocates with the Alliance for Headache Disorders Advocacy. This March we will be traveling to Washington DC to represent the state of Missouri. Together, along with other advocates from across the country, we’ll be talking to lawmakers about important issues that impact headache disorder patients and providers. Issues such as Follow my journey #HOH2024!
I am so excited!! God has given me an amazing opportunity to tell my story to policy makers at the US Capitol. Everyone knows I have Headaches, a lot of headaches, like everyday for more than a decade headaches. Y’all also know it is a fight everyday to get medication, deal with insurance, or deal with Doctors who think I am making it all up. I have wanted to get into Advocacy so I could start doing, as opposed to venting to JC. 😋
So in March I will join a bunch of others like me as part of Headache On The Hill at the US Capital. You know the one in Washington, DC!! #amygoestowashington
