Hi everyone!

For my birthday this year, I’m doing something a little different. Ella and I have been invited to particiapate in Headache On the Hill on February 9-10, 2026. Headache On the Hill is an in-person, once-a-year event in Washington, DC to connect people with their Congressman, giving us opportunity to tell our stories and show lawmakers how policy affects our daily lives. It is organized every year by the Alliance for Headache Disorder Advocacy (AHDA).

I’m passionate about helping to shape policy for people like me with Migraines and Head Pain Disorders. I have suffered migraines since college, and they have gotten progressivly worse as I got older. A few years ago Ella began to have migraines. I do not want her to go through the pain, physically and mentally, I have been through trying to get the best care and treatments.

Our goal is to raise $1000 to help sponsor Ella and myself at the Headache On the Hill in Februay. We have to raise our own funds for travel, meals, and accommodations. Every gift, great or small, will be greatly appreciated. Even a small gift makes a big difference.
